On the weekend we ventured out to Macedon to photograph the Jones Family.
Another double up. These have been INSANELY busy weeks. We are pinning our hopes on next week being slightly more calm. Aaaaah…
I take a trip to Melbourne to watch the Saints, more studio building, more painting, Maya sports a builder’s bum and turns 6, Pep and I celebrate Maya’s birthday on a cafe date then take Maya out for birthday pancakes, Maya starts to search the internet, chilly school runs, Pepper gets out and about, Alfie watches beer being drunk through the pub window, Maya’s super party (25 kids) happens, Pepper eats cake and steals my heart, the birthday present loot is quite impressive (that is what happens when you invite 25 kids!), Mazzy comes to town, Nathan celebrates his birthday with some yummy lunch (and a giant toolbox from his favourite girls), the studio starts to take shape and the office moves in to its new home, sweet moments between my girls, we finally get to go for a walk and deliver invites to our studio launch party, we spot flowers on that walk (really!) and we wrap it up by putting undies on Pepper’s head.
This week’s soundtrack is Folded in Half by the Bank Holidays (go ace Aussie band!).

Finally I have it up here and it’s official! We are having a party and you are all invited! We’d love to see you here for the launch of our little studio here in Ballarat. How amazingly cute is this little family! Not only are they cute, but they are very talented too. Rachel writes and illustrates the most pretty little things, you can see for yourself right here. And the fabulous Earl entertains crazy kids with his mega fun songs and playfulness. You can see Earl in action at our Tea & Jam Studio launch party on 14th August.
