Today we took portraits of our first Ararat family. I was very impressed that despite it being 5 degrees, overcast and occasionaly spitting, Caine, Tari and their two adorable boys were still up for heading down to Alexandra Park for some running around and having fun. I’m glad the boys took me through the very cool, overgrown maze that led us up to the old goal.

It was great to be doing a Tea & Jam portrait session in a family home again – especially since they had just returned from a family holiday and were all happy and relaxed. Aaaaah… Melisa did an awesome job styling the boys and it was great to see there was some left over Easter chocolate for ‘encouragement’.

I love moving, I love finding new things, places and people. But now we have two little people on board it really isn’t fair to drag them all over the shop. So I have decided to itch my feet with DIY. I will change what my house looks like, instead of changing the actual house! Here is my first effort, I am still unsure what Pepper thinks of her new look room, she’s been giving me mixed messages.

We got to go and share Easter morning with our little family of friends around the corner. Everyone had a buddy this Easter morning! We ate Nathan’s home baked hot cross buns (all jokes have been exhausted already thank you), hunted the the garden for easter eggs and sipped on nice strong coffee. Do we see the beginning of a budding love affair?
