Today we celebrated Maya’s 5th birthday with a scientist party. The Mad Scientist (Dad) came and entertained the kids with his crazy experiments. The crowd favourite was the blowing balloons up without blowing and then the grand finale was the dry ice ‘Magic Smoke’ extravaganza!
It was so nice to have new friends and old at our new home in Ballarat. We are so greatful to our Melbourne friends for making the trip up for the day, thank you. I would also like to thank all of Maya’s friends on her behalf for the amazing haul of gifts she recieved. We haven’t seen her since the party, but judging from the accordian and woopie cushion noises coming from her room she is very happy with her lot thank you.
So now all the mess is packed away and vacuumed up and I am sitting here with a glass of red wine saying to myself “Not Again!”, but I said that last year and the year before that. So I best get some rest as number six will be here in a blink of an eye. xx (Melbourne children’s photographer)
