Pepper is almost 3 months old now and in Ballarat winter has well and truly arrived. There is nothing cuter than a winter baby. I just love the way their squishy faces look when they are wrapped up in thick padded winter jackets.
We have been blessed with a good baby. It is amazing how two children from the same parents can be so completely different in nature. I just can’t remember Maya being so easy but then again I wonder is it just because we have been down this path before and are just more relaxed about the whole thing. We have Pepper well and truly locked into a routine now. I do the ‘Dream Feed’ at 10:30 pm and then Kate only gets up one more time in the night after that. She snoozes and has play time regularly through out day. She loves going for car rides but gets upset when the car stops at the traffic lights. Luckily there are not many traffic lights in Ballarat.
Today we went for a country drive with Auntie Bec. We visited Daylesford and had a nice country pub lunch at the Swiss Mountain hotel. Pepper was such a good girl on our little adventure. She snoozed most of the the time and snuggled in the Baby Bjorn so Kate could enjoy her lunch. Pepper had some lunch too, on the side of the road, so it was a great opportunity to take in the amazing country side around us.
